Dynamic DNS is used by many home owners when they do not have a permanently assigned IP address (Internet address) by the Internet Service Provider. An Internet address can be in a host name like yahoo.com or numerical IP address will look like this: 105.66.136.200. You will need to have an Internet address in order to remotely access/view your DVR system when you are away from home or business location.
